TOUR HIGHLIGHTS Pitt Plastics, Inc was founded in 1972 by Pittsburg, KS businessman Gene Bicknell. The company operated under private ownership until September 2012 when it was acquired by New Jersey based corporation, Inteplast Group. Inteplast Group is ranked as the #1 North American film and sheet manufacturer in 2022 in the plastics industry. Inteplast Group has over 50 locations spanning the US and North America and has over 7000 employees. We aim to contribute to various markets throughout the world in a manner that respects the needs of our workforce, a global economy and a planet with resources that must be sustained. Pitt Plastics has three locations, headquarters in Pittsburg, KS and manufacturing/warehousing locations in Columbus, OH and Morrow, GA. The Pitt Plastics locations manufacture a full line of industrial can liners and market to applications in janitorial/sanitation, foodservice, healthcare, building maintenance, industrial uses, municipal services, lodging facilities and institutional establishments.

TOUR INFO:
Get your reservation in promptly because the charter bus capacity is 56. The bus will arrive at 7:00 AM and we will depart at 7:30 AM sharp from Aloft-Wichita Hotel, 3642 N. Oliver. Please park in the parking lot on the east side of the hotel, and at the north end of that lot. We want to be sure the parking spots closest to the hotel are left open for their guests.

Arrival time back in Wichita will be approximately 4:00.

7:00 Bus arrives at Aloft Hotel
7:30 Depart Aloft Hotel on bus
10:00 – 10:15 Check in at Pitt Plastics
10:30 Tour
12:00 Lunch
1:00 – 1:15 Depart Pitt Plastics
4:00 Arrive Wichita

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
• They will provide ear protection and safety glasses
• You will not be allowed to carry in phones, watches, wedding rings, jewelry of any kind due to FDA & USDA regulations. The conference room will be locked while we tour, so you can leave items in there. We recommend bringing a bag of some kind to keep your items in. Ladies can leave their purses.
• Wear closed toed comfortable shoes

Please send reservations to Jan Baggett by Friday, April 27. When making your reservation, we will need the following:
1. Will you be riding the bus or driving on your own?
2. Non-Disclosure form attached -we will make copies & present them all together. You will not get in if they don’t have your form.
3. If you are bringing a guest, we will need the above items as well.
